Terms and Conditions for StandOut Web Application

1. Introduction

Welcome to StandOut Web Application, a web-based platform developed by inFuture Technologies, LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using the StandOut AI Web Application (“Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

These Terms govern your access to and use of all services, content, features, and functionalities provided through the StandOut AI platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and capable of forming a binding contract to use this platform. By using StandOut AI, you represent and warrant that you meet this eligibility requirement.

3. Account Registration and Security

To access certain features of the platform, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Keep your login credentials confidential
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach

You are solely responsible for activities conducted through your account.

4. Platform Usage

StandOut AI is designed for career exploration, candidate evaluation, and talent discovery through AI-assisted features. You agree to use the platform for lawful purposes only and not to:

  • Misrepresent your identity or credentials
  • Submit content that is offensive, unlawful, discriminatory, or misleading
  • Reverse-engineer, copy, or modify any part of the platform
  • Interfere with or disrupt the functionality of the platform or its infrastructure

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms or misuse of the platform.

5. Use of AI Features

StandOut AI leverages Artificial Intelligence to support talent discovery, including

  • language analysis
  • communication assessments
  • and job-candidate fit scoring

All AI-generated insights are advisory only and do not replace human decision-making. Employers and candidates must exercise their own judgment. The platform does not make hiring decisions or employment guarantees.

You acknowledge that StandOut AI is not responsible for employment outcomes resulting from platform use.

6. User-Generated Content

As a user, you may upload or submit content (e.g., resumes, audio/video responses, profile information). You retain ownership of this content but grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:

  • Use, host, store, and display your content for the purpose of operating the platform
  • Share your profile (only with your explicit consent) with potential employers or recruiters

You are solely responsible for the legality, reliability, and appropriateness of the content you provide.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, technology, source code, and intellectual property associated with StandOut AI remain the exclusive property of inFuture technologies, LLC or its licensors.

You are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use the platform for personal or organizational recruitment purposes. You may not copy, distribute, modify, or exploit any part of the platform for commercial gain without prior written consent.

8. Third-Party Services

StandOut AI may integrate third-party services (e.g., authentication providers, analytics tools, AI APIs). Your use of these services is subject to their individual terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party failures or data handling outside of our control.

9. Data Protection and Privacy

10. Termination

  • We do not guarantee job placement, candidate hiring, or uninterrupted service availability.
  • We disclaim all liability for actions or decisions made based on AI-generated insights.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, inFuture technologies, LLC shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect,incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits or data
  • Platform access issues or third-party
  • service failures.

Our total liability, under any claim, shall not exceed the amount paid by you (if any) for use of the platform in the 6 months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless inFuture technologies, LLC, its affiliates, officers, and employees from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from:

  • Your use of the platform
  • Violation of these Terms
  • Infringement of third-party rights

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, technologies, or legal requirements. Any changes will be effective upon posting. Continued use of the platform after such updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, United States. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be resolved through arbitration or courts located in Connecticut, unless otherwise required by law.
